The Research, Planning and Development Center is responsible in providing relevant research-based information needed in planning and decision-making. The Office is tasked to perform activities concerned with systematic studies and investigation for the improvement of the Colegio’s operations and educational programs. Specifically, the Department aims to:

• Promote the culture of research in the Colegio;
• Implement a well-defined research and development program for the enhancement of the Colegio’s operations and educational program;
• Provide accurate and updated information to all planning and decision-making units of the Colegio;
• Help the school in its search for solution to urgent and priority needs through well-defined research undertakings;
• Promote professional growth through research.

For SY 2007-2008, the Department aims to:

1. Provide an avenue for spiritual conference in the department.
   
2. Actively support the academic departments
   
3. Provide support in the application of BS Information Technology and AB Communication Arts for Center for Development recognition.
   
4. Generate research with the academic departments on the implementation of the ladderized program.
   
5. Oversee the generation of at least one action research per academic department and one action research per non-teaching division.
   
6. Assist in the establishment of the Colegio as Center of Cultural and Historical Studies in Intramuros
   
7. Accomplish the following:
   • Another linkages and affiliation with at least one local and international organization.
   • Participation in the L-E-T-R-A-N quality circles
   
8. Oversee the generation of market study of the academic departments.
